Every catalog in LoadOut is built from public manufacturer data and published standards, ships inside the app so it works offline, and is credited in the app under Settings › About & Help › Data Sources & Credits. This page is the same accounting, with the counts as measured for LoadOut 1.1.
What ships in the app

Where the numbers come from
Cartridge and chamber dimensions and maximum average pressures are drawn from the published U.S. and European sporting-ammunition standards. The cartridge and chamber drawings are LoadOut's own, generated from those dimensions. Component data, bullet coefficients, scope specifications, and factory-load velocities come from the manufacturers' own published tables. Nothing in a catalog was measured by guesswork. Where a factory load's coefficient could not be traced to a published figure, the app shows it with the note "An estimate based on testing" rather than presenting it as published. 59 of the 4,115 factory loads carry that note, and a coefficient kept from outside its measured regime is marked as such.
The Data Sources & Credits screen in the app lists every company by category, and the app's tests fail if a manufacturer ships in a catalog without being credited there.
Published load data is never republished
LoadOut never republishes another manufacturer's load tables. It ships none in the app, mirrors none on any server, inserts none into your database, and deep-links none. When you want published data for a cartridge, the app opens the manufacturer's own reloading data page, Hodgdon, Hornady, Sierra, or Vihtavuori, where you look it up yourself. Your recipes are yours, theirs are theirs, and LoadOut hosts neither.
Values you bring in from a published table are starting points. Always verify against your current reloading manual before loading, and never start at maximum charge.
Reticles
The 55 reticles are LoadOut-original artwork, calibrated for interoperability with major scope manufacturers. None reproduces a trademarked or licensed reticle design, and no manufacturer's reticle name appears as a choice in the app. Each reticle carries its origin on screen: LoadOut Original, Public Domain Reticle, or Calibrated to a named manufacturer specification, with the note that it is not a reproduction and should be verified against your scope's specification sheet for precision use. If your scope ships with a brand-specific reticle, Find by My Scope recommends the closest LoadOut archetype with the same hold-off math.
How catalogs update
The catalogs update inside the app, without a store release. On launch, with a connection, LoadOut checks for a newer catalog version and pulls only what changed; without a connection it keeps working on the copy it has. Rows you add yourself, under Settings › Components, are never overwritten by an update. Your own recipes, firearms, and profiles are your data and are never part of a catalog update.
Attribution
All product names, model designations, and specifications belong to their respective owners. LoadOut is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any company listed in its catalogs. Their data is shipped solely to help shooters identify the components they are using.
LoadOut reads Shooters Global shot timers from that company's published Bluetooth API document alone, without any code or software development kit from Shooters Global, and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or certified by Shooters Global. The same holds for every meter and chronograph maker named on this site: the names say what LoadOut works with, nothing more.

Open source and on-device models
LoadOut's on-device text recognition, its encryption, and its semantic search are built on open-source and openly licensed components, each credited in the app with its role and licence. Search by Meaning runs Google's EmbeddingGemma model, downloaded once and run entirely on the device; the Standard voice is built from an openly licensed speech model, with its training-data credits listed in the app. Google is not affiliated with LoadOut and does not endorse it.
